Jeff Lewis has been practicing law in Southern California since 1996. He is a certified appellate specialist by the California State Bar. He focuses his practice in three areas: Litigation, Appellate Law and Land Use (in the Palos Verdes area).
Mr. Lewis attended University of California, Santa Barbara, where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Economics in 1992. Thereafter, he obtained his Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School in 1996.
Mr. Lewis has been a member of the State Bar of California since 1996, and is admitted to practice before the California and U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Eastern, Central and Southern Districts of California, the Eastern District of Michigan as well as the United States Court of Appeal, Ninth and Sixth Circuits. Mr. Lewis is also admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court.
Mr. Lewis is a member of the Orange County and Los Angeles County Bar Associations. Mr. Lewis is also a member of the Orange County Bar Association Mandatory Fee Arbitration Committee as well as the California Appellate Defense Counsel. Mr. Lewis also serves as an arbitrator for QDR
Jeff is married and lives in Rancho Palos Verdes. He, his wife and three young children have a passion for adventure and frequently travel to Yosemite, Lake Tahoe and San Francisco. Most weekends they can be found hiking, running, attending soccer games or geocaching. Jeff is an avid photographer, annually attends Comic-Con and is actively involved in the civic affairs of the city of Rancho Palos Verdes. Jeff is a past member of the city’s traffic and safety commission, served on the Rancho Palos Verdes Planning Commission between 2006 and 2014 and is the former president of RPV’s Council of Homeowners Associations (CHOA).
Since 1996, Jeff has participated in over 100 appellate proceedings in the California Court of Appeal, Ninth Circuit and Ninth Circuit Bankruptcy Appellate Panel. Jeff Lewis is certified by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization.
