Biography
Hadas Alterman is an Israeli-American attorney, born in Jerusalem and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. She has a J.D. from Berkeley Law and a B.A. from the University of California at Santa Cruz. Hadas is a founding member of the Plant Medicine Law Group LLP and advises companies on matters of regulatory compliance, policy advocacy, risk management, strategic planning, revenue models, corporate governance, and dispute resolution. Prior to founding PMLG, she worked with Wykowski Law & Associates, a leading cannabis law firm in San Francisco. Hadas is a committed creative problem-solver, and is dedicated to using the law to expand equitable access to plant medicine. She is the Policy Director of the New York decriminalization campaign Democratize Healing and a Board Member of the Psychedelic Bar Association.
