Gary J. Chester is a New Jersey trial attorney who has been in practice since 1983. He has reported and commented on sports law issues for The New York Times, CNN, ESPN Sportsticker, WFAN, KMOX, Street & Smith’s Sports Business Journal, and others. Mr. Chester serves as an adjunct professor at Montclair State University and Caldwell University in New Jersey, where he teaches The Law of Sports, Ethics in Sports, and Travel and Hospitality Law. Mr. Chester holds a J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law and a B.A. in Journalism from the University of Wisconsin. He has been conducting national CLE programs since 2014.
