Testifying 101: Depositions and Trials
Credit States:
Many lawyers like to think that cases are won or lost on their advocacy alone. But lawyers cannot win a case without facts and those facts are often presented through witnesses. The objective of this training is to educate lawyers about how to present compelling witnesses that will help win cases. The training focuses on preparing those witnesses for two key events in a civil case: testimony at deposition and testimony at trial. In so doing, it lays out the critical differences in that preparation with an eye toward making witnesses comfortable—and effective—in both the deposition and trial setting.
